Forgive me if this has been posted/read previously since it's from July/Aug 2014...but I just came across the below piece which I thought was very helpful in explaining (in good detail) all of the systems involved and challenges with healing from chronic Lyme. For some, it might help when talking to others about the nature of chronic Lyme, at least it will for me!

Her book Cure Unknown is excellent. If there is only one book that you read about understanding the complexity of this disease, this is the book.
