Yep, "new" science doesn't seem to make it to many doctors, unless they are very careful to keep up on it. It doesn't seem to matter what subject (Lyme, Mold, MCAD). Extremely frustrating doesn't even cover it!
YES. EERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If its"new" to them (which means its been out there 20 years already), mainstream medicine says it doesnt exist.
Example: After years regular "gastros" finally accept H.Pylori in the gut after its been known in the naturalpath/functional med area since early 90's.
It starts with the med schools as they are "old school".
If any of the "newer age thinking" Drs I see do something out of the ordinary my insurance cancels that visits coverage completely as a form of control and punishment to the Dr and patient.
Yet they will cover some 60K medical procedure that might have been avoided with healthier living. So messed up, it cant change.
