my update

I am still progressing with some pain still in knee and shoulder but fatigue and mental clarity is way better been doing detox thanks to you guys been on my 11pm-7am shift which is my worst but still feel good I do notice I sweat a lot more then usaual and my urine does smell sometimes, I go to my doctor on 21st wondering if I should ask for more then just the doxy 200mg daily I am on.The pain I have is better its not constant and if I am just sitting no more throbbing but when I am moving around or doing stairs they do hurt and still get the occasional elbow throb out of no where.I need not test positive for co infections so I think its just lyme any advice I appreciate.

How long do you think you had Lyme before treatment started?

200 mg of doxy daily isn't enough - you need to increase to 200 twice daily and if it's not an acute infection then you need to add a second antibiotic. Unless you caught it right away the doxy alone isn't enough.

Also - the testing for confections is not reliable so don't count them out.

So, how soon after October/15 did you start treatment? Within a couple of weeks?

Whether you choose to use herbs or pharma abx, you will need to add in another abx - Doxy alone will encourage the formation of more round body forms (also known as the cyst form), and monotherapy doesn't work for Lyme, even if that's the only infection you have.

Depending on what you choose to use - herbs or abx - we should be able to be of help for suggestions.

You could add Azithromycin to the doxy....or biaxin to doxy.

The LL Dr. should know the protocols.
