Dose this seem like Lyme!? Help!

Dose this sound like Lyme? Help!
I have been struggling since semtember..
Started with seveare itchyness all over body
Anxiety
Joint paint in left rist
Muscle cramps and muscle pain (randomly)
Then moved to tremors all over body
twitching in fingers
Cracking joints like crazy
Slight headaches and stomach akes that I haven't had In a while
Pins and needles and tingeling
Numbness in feet
Random slight feverishness
Always cold feet and hands.
Lately I have been having jolts my body makes as I'm trying to fall asleep.
Bit of shakiness in fingers now.
Had a small itchy rash that doesn't go away since last spring but I treat it with essential oils to keep it at bay.
Doctors wrote me off and said it was stress...
Have seen a naturopath and he started a treatment but we don't know what it is yet! He says some kind of virus but waiting on blood work. The tingeling, tiredness, shakiness, sleeping jolt, numbness in feet started after the treatment and pins and needles have gone down almost 100% now. Still cursed with everything else tho.
I developed rings around my neck and get itchyness around neck and shoulders now too
Anyone experience these things? Please help!

Hi Hayley - welcome to our community.

Do you know what your ND tested you for?

Those symptoms could definitely be attributed to Lyme Disease.

I suggest that you get a Lyme WB IgM and IgG test done through Igenex Lab in California. You call them and they send you the test kit...the test I mentioned is $210 for both.
Your ND should be able to sign the lab req.

We encourage all new members to read through the thread at the top of the page titled: "New to Lyme?..Start Here!" It's got a lot of useful information in there.

You can also contact a Lyme Literate Dr. (LLMD) and schedule an appt. for an evaluation. It often takes several weeks to months to get in to one...so you can have your test results with you for your first appt.
The Igenex test takes about 3 weeks before you get results.

Hayleyhazlezzz, I am so sorry..... this sounds miserable and you have had it since spring? egads!

My best advice is to have an IgeneX lyme test. If you are fortunate your doctor can order it and get it done with your insurance. But many of us have to either contact IgeneX on our own and pay for it or go to a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor and have them do the blood draw for the test.

That is generally your first move.

However...... if you are like my husband and watched me go through lyme disease, we did not test him. It was all too evident that his is lyme. And then when we began treating him with lyme disease core protocol herbs, his symptoms began to lessen - we did not have to pay the $210 for the test (which is unreliable anyway).

It is really a crap shoot. Lyme is so vague.

Tested for basic viruses like the herpes one and mono one (can't remember the medical names) there were like 5 viruses or so and I was only positive for the mono one. I wanted a Lyme and bartonella test so we are doing that but the Canadian tests aren't supposed to be very good anyways and I know that they can show fausly on top of it :/

Oh, you're Canadian? Yup, I tested negative on the Canadian lyme test.
Did you also get a co-infection test done? (bart or babesia?)

May I ask (without you giving out too much personal info) are you West East or in the middle?

Southern Ontario, it was the epstine bar virus I was positive for. We are testing Bart as well I believe! Please feel free to send info!

EBV is one of the usual suspects, along with Babesia and Bartonella. The lines around your neck could be Bart, the other symptoms easily coincide with Lyme, one of the ringleaders. These thugs rarely travel alone, always cross over symptoms and are never welcome. Lyme and Bartonella are especially hard to diagnose by lab test, so even if you do have labs done, assume for now that you have them. Start now. The longer you wait, the longer it takes to recover.

That combination of symptoms, several of them being hallmark lyme symptoms, like the jolt you get when trying to sleep among many others you listed sounds very lymie.

Pretty much every symptom you are experiencing I have experienced as well.

An experienced LLMD would clinically diagnose you with lyme pretty easily and quickly.

EBV is something 90% of humans have. Unless you just now got infected with EBV I highly doubt it's EBV doing this. If EBV alone can do this then 90% of humans would be walking around with 20+ symptoms and a world wide pandemic scare would be all over the news everyday.

SO.....there's probably a more logical answer to this. Most lyme stories are the same. Every virus or disease is tested and still no answers. Answers don't come until a lyme test (preferably Igenex) is taken.

Not yet, I asked my ND about it but we are already focusing on so many other things that he didn't want to overwhelm my system more. I have like 12 tinctures x3 and 30 pills a day lol. Focusing on detox, supporting organs, and killing virus. Although he just thinks it's the EBV only so far. Still more testing to be done.

sounds like parasite to me but who knows. I got best results from antiparasite meds

It sounds like it could be lyme. One of my first symptoms was all over itching. It could have been parasites too, but I think lyme came first. It weakens the immune system which allows things like parasites (or viruses) to thrive.

I'm curious about the jolt. I have this thing where when I close my eyes I will jump as if someone has just thrown a ball at my face. It's not like I'm falling asleep either. Is this similar to your jolt?

Another thing (if not lyme) that could explain your symptoms is mold exposure.

The itching sounds like parasites to me-couldn't hurt to treat they can war down the immune system and open the door to lyme and others

I would lay down...and just about doze off...and be jolted awake.

I started taking Valerian tablets right before bed...and it did work and I didn't need them anymore.

Ko7 yes, it's like my body jumps, I think it's my subconscious muscle going crazy just like it would if someone actually through a ball. Sometimes it's just a limb that dose it. Sometimes it'll make my hand or foot twitch big and sometimes it's just the whole body lol.

I am highly allergic to mold and very sensiative to it plus my immune system has always been crap, I sounds like I might have all three things lol.

Girlie, thanks for the input I thought it was scary and I could sleep for ages while it happens!
