If your asking about
powdered protien shakes, many protien shakes upset the gut. A veggie based protien without dairy, soy and glutan is the best all around you can get for immune compromised people. Walmart has one in a zip-bag, 12 or 15 servings for $10.
Fruit smoothies are not as healthy as some people think- its all compressed sugar minus the fiber- NOT what you want. Our bodies are not designed to take in that much sugar at once, totally unatural. They are a fad right now because they are sweet, not a good reason.
But -Add some veggies and its better. But any nutritionalist will say its better to just eat the whole fruit or veggies. The glutan free veggie/grass powders are prob better in the end- but not as fun to make!!
Vitamins themselves are best if you get the better brands, the grocery store brands and not the best to absorb. Pure Encapsulations multi is one of the best for the $.
