If your CD57 is going higher, then things ARE going in the right direction!! I promise! It's thought to be an immune marker, but they don't know what all affects it - it's explained a lot better in the article I linked than I could ever explain.

The Elisa may or may not ever turn positive - it's a pretty poor test - but the possibility is definitely there. Just remember that we may always produce antibodies to Lyme, as we have to count on the immune system to keep it under control, once the numbers of bacteria are low enough.

What the test results are showing you is the infections that you must still have treatments for. So if you aren't in treatment for C. pneumonia, I would encourage you to seriously consider it. Who wants pneumonia on top of all of this????

OK thanks again. I'm on azitromycin which my lyme doc said is for chlamydia and I'm on minocycline for lyme. I'm also on herbs and supplements.

Stupid NHS giving me two weeks doxy then two month gap then four weeks doxycycline. I read doxy alone makes things worse!

Mono therapy for Lyme is not good either, you should see if you can either get another abx to add to that that treats Lyme, or start on an herbal protocol as well. The bacteria can learn how to protect themselves from mono therapy drugs.

And, yes, Doxy alone will encourage round body form (some still call it the cyst form). There are several studies that show this, but too many doctors are 'behind the times'.

Daisies description is a good one for those that the CD57 tracking is helpful for.

It IS good for Lyme, it crosses the Blood brain barrier well - but none of the abx should be used by themselves, they need to be paired with another abx that will hit other forms of the bacteria, so that they can't avoid the "killing action" by simply changing to another form. The Lyme bacteria have 3 distinct forms they can easily and quickly change into, as well as hiding out in biofilms when they sense danger (abx).

Those two are good for lyme...but you will want to also address biofilms and cysts.
Biofilms: serrapeptase, lumbrokinase (taken on empty stomach is a must) or Lactoferrin and Xylitol

Cysts: Flagyl or Tinidazole - pulsed two or three days weekly
For non - pharma - Grapefruit Seed Extract.


Then there are co-infections - bart and babs will need something else.

Yeah sorry I just seen it. My herbs have grapeseed so hopefully that will help but u will discuss with lyme doctor other options. Feeling terrible lately and the high test markers explain that so need to make sure I'm on right treatment.

I'm going to ask for tinazadol or flag I think. Surely high markers of lyme 20 and chlamydia 40 need stronger antibiotics like flag?

So i spoke to fellow lyme friend and she said high markers could indicate the bacteria has multiplied and grown based on its shape into cyst form. Is this true?

The NHS western blot is not worth the paper it's written on. I tested negative on it as well. Really you should abandon the NHS because they can't help with Lyme. Even if my test had come back positive the antibiotics on offer would have 99% certain done nothing to help me anyway. I'm doing amazing on herbs at the moment. If you find a doctor on the NHS that knows anything about Lyme please let me be the first to know.

UCLH Hospital in London is totally useless for Lyme, from personal experience. Sorry my comments are not of much use, but it's good to see a fellow Brit and I smash the NHS to the ground every chance I get because they are allowing people to die, it's just as bad as in the US.
