I need some desperate help. I'm feeling terrible right now. I was almost 70-80% better in the fall leading up to November-December time frame. My Doc took me off Artemisinin and two types of drops ( BLT & Crypto ) saying I was probably in remission. I'm guessing both of those were the main help in getting me back to 70-80% along with my diet change to paleo and virtually no sugar. Since Christmas I've only had a handful of days were I've seen any reprieve to feeling even "not terrible". I've done IV Ozone, relight, sonic bath, IV vitamin C and sensitizer treatment where they inject Chloraphil ( I think that's right ) into your blood stream and you can't be exposed to sunlight all weekend. Toxins are suppose to bind to them then once activated by light it kills toxins. All of that was not cheap either as many of you can relate. I finished that two week stint last Friday.
Just started Japanese Knotweed pills 1 week ago to try to begin Buhner protocol and I'm flat on my back.
And to top it off I haven't slept more that 3-4 straight in over a year and a half??? Currently on Ambien with limited success.
I almost feel like my Docs are missing something??? I mean I don't have joint pain, no real headaches to speak of, just feel sick, nauseous, irritable, constipated ( do go poo but have to push hard to get out ).
Feel like there is something inside me just eating me from the inside???
HELP.....

And yes I'm detoxing, did a epsom salt hydrogen peroxide bath yesterday and I'm worse today????

Is there something else wrong with me? I'd be happy to feel like I did last year at this time?????

Drez - If you were feeling better when you were on the Artemisinin and Crypto ( what is the BLT?)
- then it sounds like you didn't treat long enough.

can you go back on them? They're not prescription - you can purchase them online.

You shouldn't stop treatment until you are symptom free...and then some.

Why did your Doc take you off those?

So sorry you are having a relapse. I've been there myself. Girlie is right you need to stay with what is working until everything comes back to normal and then some. At least you know what that was and you can get back on track. All the best

You don't quit treating until you are symptom free for 2 months. I am so sorry that your doc took you off the treatment. If you were only 70-80% you should have continued until you were 100%.

This is my opinion and what I have read.

So sorry....

Now what to do? Well, if it were me, I would back off the Japanese Knotweed until you leveled out. All day long drink lots of water. Adding lemon is a bonus. Try one of those huge glass of water and put a splash of apple cider vinegar in it.

Lots of veggies! And you need some fiber. Split peas are super high in fiber. If you get a can of beans, rinse those beans off before you eat them - that takes sugars and salt off the beans. I love artichokes and they are also high in fiber. This will really help with the constipation - more fiber!!

Drez, how much Japanese Knotweed are you taking? I had to back way off and start over again. Some members haven't been able to tolerate it. Just a thought. Hope you feel better soon.

Maybe I can't tolerate it or I need to get the tincture form as members have suggested so I can start with a single drop. I have the 500mg pills from Dragon Botanicals. Gonna stop for a couple of days and see if I start to show any signs of the slightest feelings of "not horrible"....

Has anyone experience what I am? If so what happened? So sorry, just in need of positive reinforcement

Buy some empty capsules and open the 500 one up and divide it into approximately three capsules.

(pour it onto a sheet of paper and fold the paper so that is makes a sort of funnel to pour into empty caps.

..or buy the tincture.


The tincture really is ideal for titrating up.

I did do the GD capsules though.

Drez that's awful. Probable remission, doesn't sound like, remission. Well like everyone else has said, you need to treat when you are able to start again. Yes, definitely cut back on the JK. It can be a doozy. I don't think I'll ever do the pills in that one. Drops for me.

And yes, get back on those other herbs. Of course, working back up slowly.

It sounds like you are doing a lot treating lyme. I'm not saying that's either "good" or "bad". But how much are you detoxing?

It sounds like you have a full on assault on lyme, then you need an adequate amount of detoxing to help with inflammation. You feel bad because of inflammation. Inflammation is "good" because the body is to some degree successfully fighting the borrelia infection. But you can reduce or even maybe eliminate the inflammation through proper detox.

What is your detoxing regiment?
