I'm not sure what to do. Our small group (Bible study group) has a man in there with stage 4 melanoma on interferon. Now that I know I have all this junk I am worried about passing on this crap to him. We meet tonight too.
If you're really concerned - you could wear a mask...and just say tell him it's out of concern for him.
But, I'm not sure it's necessary...as long as you don't hug him...or sneeze/cough close to him...you're not going to be passing anything on to him.So you think if I sit across the room from him that should be enough of a barrier? There are just all these things I never thought about
before that pop into my thoughts and then I start to worry. LOL.IMO - yes.
I have seen cancer patients wearing masks themselves if they are in treatment that lowers their immune function.
So, if he truly does have low immunity - I would expect him to be wearing a mask...and not hugging people.
There are a lot of people 'out there' carrying viruses that could harm someone who is immunocompromised.
So (repeating myself) - if he is in that situation...he would most likely be wearing a mask.
