Thanks, all. I HAVE slowed down....any slower and I'll be at stop. But I'll have to be horizontal for at least two weeks following knee treatments. I'll keep you posted.
Ooooooh...."knee treatments". Surgery? Brush up on your de-toxing for this. Not to scare you but it's normal to have an increase in symptoms after invasive procedures.
I'm like Traveler with these infections walking into everything, catching my toe on steps and pretending to be a stuntwoman, unbalanced and if I bend my head down too far, my whole body will follow. I was waiting for pick up at the lab today and let go of the pillar I was holding. A girl walked by at that moment and asked if I was ok because I did sort of lose my balance even with both feet planted. I blamed the wind.
I wanted to suggest - don't try to cushion your fall by putting a hand or arm out. Great way to break or tear something. I think we're supposed to "roll" with it. I'm not sure how that works for those of us well into our 60's but since like you I usually hit the ground before I ever realize I'm falling, it's hard to react well anyway.
