so went to Burlington Vermont hospital and seen a rheumatologist and it is normal to have a positive Ana test but with a low titer a high titer is unlikely in Lyme according to the doctor. I hope this helps anyone with that question

Often times people with Lyme do have a positive ANA without a diagnosed autoimmune disease. This is common in many Lyme/co facebook groups that I belong to and Dr. H. talks about this in both his books.

Yes, and after treatment - they're not positive anymore.

Yes the doctor also said that and like five percent of people are Ana positive anyway. My appointment was made before I new I had Lyme so I kept it and he agreed it was Lyme not autoimmune

High titer....low titer?

My ANA results never had that info, just positive or negative, and yes, it seems to change often.

If it's positive it's reported as a ratio

Eg, 1:80 or 1:160

the 1:160 would be more antibodies than the 1:80.
