That's positive for a flagella. As we say, there are no good bugs with tails. So you have something with flagella, had it long enough to set both igG and igM. Were you tested for Babesia and Bartonella as well? These bugs travel in packs, you're positive for 3 of the usual suspects. If your symptoms are consistent for Borrellia, then welcome to that not so wonderful group. You've got a bit of reading to do. Detox, detox, detox. It makes life for livable.

Krystal, keep treating for Lyme. The tests aren't good at showing a reaction because of the way the bacteria disguises itself and keeps our immune system and antibodies from even knowing it's there or where it is. Serum antibody tests are not near dependable. You have to go by symptoms.

Also EBV and other viruses commonly get to come to the forefront because of Lyme subduing the immune system.


Are you going to search for an LLMD? We could help you there. Or you could self treat. The antibiotics the usual medical practitioners give us usually aren't sufficiently long or strong enough to be of much help, other than scaring the Lyme spirochetes into further hiding and disguising.

Some have success with them though, depending on how long they were infected before diagnosed and treated.

Well, that would depend on what the doctor feels "successful treatment" entails? Is it just completing 6 weeks of treatment? Or until all symptoms resolve?

Stevia has not been proven to kill any bacteria, but it's thought that it helps with biofilms. Stevia does kill bacteria in a test tube, but many things that can kill the bacteria in a test tube doesn't work in the body.

If this doctor doesn't have any plans on treating the infections directly with proven methods, I would highly encourage you to find another doctor.

An LLMD is one that has at least attended the ILADS conferences, and follows ILADS treatment protocols - you should ask your doctor what protocol he is following.
