Hi All, my 19 year old has been 98% symptom free for 4 years, off of everything. A few years ago he got some standard teenage vaccines and had symptoms flare up but for a few days and then gone, back to normal; tells me his immune system took care of it. Awesome!
Since January he has had symptoms happening here and there (he got a flu shot in late December, wondering if its the culprit). One day tingly hands, a week later hot flashes, a week later stabbing pains, and some anxiety pretty regularly. For the most part though; totally fine and living normally/being active.
I made him an appointment with his old llmd and I am now wondering if I jumped the gun and should have waited to see if we could turn things around with immune support etc..
I hope treating these things, assuming the doc goes this route, won't stir it all up and make him worse.
What would you do? I am wishing I had waited... When your a mom with anxiety from tick-borne infections and your child at college keeps texting with symptoms you call and make the appointment. Hope I did the right thing.
