I've been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and CFS. While investigating, I stumbled across the idea that it might be Lyme. Not sure what to do. I've been reading these forums and many reference speaking with an LLMD but I have been unable to find one. I've gone through the links on the IGenex website and no one has contacted me back. I need help, I want to feel better and I'm using whatever little clarity of mind I have to search for solutions. If someone can help connect me with SoCal doctor, that would be great. My Kaiser doc thinks I'm paranoid for even thinking Lyme is possible in California (it's so very rare).

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Blymey, welcome. I was diagnosed with Fibro as well, back in '85 after a year of weird symptoms. It's been Lyme and co-infections that often come with Lyme, all along!

I think the method is to call Igenex over and over, like speed dial they are pretty busy, apparently.

You can also email me, and I will send you what names I have, but I can't guarantee they will be Southern California, because I'm not real familiar with the all the cities' locations.

Blymey-It's far from rare. California has been hit hard. You can google the Stanford Lyme studies and google your local papers-lyme and news channels-Lyme.

Welcome to our forum! I too am in SoCal and also have had a heck of a time in network with Dr.'s. If you google Dr. Lyme thousand oaks you'll come up with a name of someone lyme literate. Be prepared to pay out of pocket and for the prices to be steep. I decided to figure it out myself with help from this forum. Invested in treatment. What are your symptoms?
