Babesia causing severe upper body burning pain and numb stiff fingers

I am realizing that these symptoms go with Babesia. I stopped all treatment for a while and then started a Chinese herb called Qing Hao same as Artemesia.

I have tested positive to Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia and mycoplasma but this herb is mainly for Babesia and all of these symptoms appeared in case this helps anyone.

I am praying you guys.

Burning pain is a symptom I also have with these infections. I assumed it was Bartonella, but after treating Lyme and Bart for over two years, I am now just starting Babs treatment.

Sorry you have this symptom too.

I had the burning pain with bart so I know how awful it can be. I'm not sure if you're taking Epsom Salt baths but that really helped me. I had to start out with luke warm water because the burning made it uncomfortable. But I could raise the hot water temp. as I continued with the bath.

Welcome BLessings11. Temperature disruptions - hypersensitivity, false sensations, etc - are part of this mess. My feet can't tolerate the same level of heat that the rest of my body can. I get in a lukewarm soak that my feet can barely endure and turn the hot water on when I get in. Neuropathy in various regions that moves or cycles also comes with this ration o' stuff.

numb fingers from babesia? i've read sparingly that babesia can cause neuropathy but i always thought that was more a classic symptom of lyme or bart.

just because an herb is said to hit a particular pathogen doesn't mean it doesn't hit other pathogens since these herbs like abx are broad spectrum anti-microbials

I was going to say the same thing as Rikky - those symptoms are more closely tied to Neuro Lyme and Bart - but that doesn't mean they are the only infections that can cause them.

And, sometimes, when we treat one infection - the symptoms of other infections will get stronger. That's how it's always been for me. As the bacterial/protozoa levels of one infection lower, I get more symptoms of the other infections.

This is why some people treat more than one infection at a time - and to shorten the course of the total treatment, of course.
