Back off or detox more?

I'm currently on:

1/2 drop A-Bab 1x per day
1 drop AL-Complex 2x per day

...among various regular vitamins and supplements.

I've had bad head pressure, dizziness, and achy for three days. Today the brain fog set in. At first I thought the headache was just a headache, but it's clear now it's herx. To combat it, over the last three days I've taken charcoal, lemon water, Dr. Zhang AI#3, ice for my head, acetaminophen, lots of water, Yogi detox tea, modified citrus pectin, curcumin and none of it's working. Two days ago I stopped the A-Bab, but the headache and pressure continue, if not worse. My blood pressure starts to spike and that's when I get worried. -- I have not been able to epsom bath because I've felt so terrible, but I usually do them daily.

I herx EVERY time I start the Bryon White herbs and I'm on the most minimal doses. I herx, I back off, I start again, herx, back off. I'm not making any progress! I've been on this plan for 4 months.

I do detox regularly. Everyday: Lemon water, detox tea, epsom bath, modified citrus pectin (or charcoal). I drink plenty of water, I rest. What am I missing? Should I up the detox and ride it out or just keep backing off and re-starting? This is so frustrating. I want to get this party started, but I keep stopping and starting.

Kristen - maybe you should consider doing a different protocol..instead of the Byron White Formulas.

That is a really low dose.

Either that...or just stop the A-Bab and AL-Complex and focus just on detoxing for a couple weeks...until you get some resolution of the symptoms...and then restart...1/2 drop

That's the problem. I did stop for a few weeks, felt great, re-started about a week ago and now this massive 3 day head pressure and dizziness. I keep starting, stopping, and re-starting. I'm really worried my LLMD is going to put me on antibiotics - which I don't really want. I feel like I'm in a vicious cycle.

Can you talk to him about Buhner's protocols? If you really don't want to do the antibiotics - that is your choice.

You never know.

I know some people switched to Buhner because they couldn't tolerate another one - sorry I can't remember if it was the Byron White ...or not.

...and herxing isn't the end of the world...but when you can't get past 1/2 drop - without herxing...that isn't relieved by detoxing...then it's a problem.

But, you aren't the first 'sensitive' member we've seen here...don't worry...there is a solution for you.

Didnt you say you are a bee keeper ? ...you have a really powerful modality right at your fingertips .....i only made gains when i added bvt ..i am up to 20 drops of abart 2 x a fay and it pales to the power of the bees ...propolis too...

No, not a bee keeper. That would be cute, though ;) I've heard a little about BVT, but have not felt well enough to do the research. What are you taking exactly?

Kristen sorry those herbs are too strong for you. I've heard that Byron White can be quite a bear. Most posts I've seen, members herx badly or have awful symptom increases with very small dosages. Yes, I would definitely look to another protocol. How about just doing cat's claw or Samento while things calm down some?

There is Cowden, Dr. Jernigan, as mentioned Buhner protocols, Beyond Balance......there are a lot of protocols and/or a
alternative herbs to choose from that could benefit you.

I don't know Kristen. I have to tell you that as much as you miss eating what you used to (normal) You would be feeling so much worse if you were. I applaud you for your determination and strength, everyone should be allowed a cheat or two once in a while.

But this sort of thing I'm referring to happens right after eating, not 2 days later.

Some of those symptoms you listed do sound more like a herx, than say, leaky gut.

I want to say Happy Belated Birthday, but, well, I hope at least the actual day of was happy for you.
