Any experience for mold/mycotoxins with Provocation neutralization, Shoemaker protocol?

Hello,

I'm going to change my LLMD. In previous posts you may remember I am pretty frustrated with my LLMD.

Getting rid of this from my body and home is difficult for my tired Lyme Brain to capture. I have gotten a ton of information. A lot of it I don't understand but hubby is reading what I give him so I'm waiting on him.

Has anyone had experience with Provocation neutralization or the Shoemaker protocol? I have heard from one forum member on the Shoemaker protocol but would like others feedback as well if possible. Or I found a doc in Chicago that has mold/mycotoxins and Lyme among other things listed as things he treats. Would that be a good way to go? He's not any more expensive than my current doctor plus he does skype for office visits which is a real plus.

Maybe someone has another doc they really like for this horrible infection. If you do could you email me his name?

I know it maybe expensive but I am desperate to start feeling better sooner rather than later. Which I'm sure that last sentence did not need to be made as everyone in this forum feels that way.

Laker - I do't have any experience with mold/mycotoxins or the Shoemaker protocol.

But, just wanted to say I'm sorry you're frustrated with your LLMD...and hope you find one that you are happy with.

Thanks julymorning and Girlie, for some reason this is a topic that not many people are familiar with. Some are familiar but my lyme brain can't understand what is being said. All of my science knowledge has left my poor brain.

I do know shoemakers protocol uses a combination of tests: c4a, trans growth beta 1, msh and vip. Sometimes, cd57nk is thrown in the mix also to get an idea of immune system strength.

It gets confusing because LabCorps ranges for blood and urine are different than what shoemakers numbers are. LabCorp does do the same tests. I had them done in December and I was surprised to be ok.

Thanks Purrrsiankitty, Do you think the tests are accurate? I've been treatment Lyme and Bartonella and who knows what for 18 months and am not progressing much more at all. I'm thinking it's mold.

My doctor doesn't do mold or apparently other coinfections, so I' looking for someone to bring me up to at least 90%

I see a doc who also does the Shoemaker protocol. I am in the process with him but was not getting desired results, so something was missing... what we found out was that I had no issues with mold... clear house, clear wok and my blood tests showed issues that were Lyme & Co related, not mold. That was all good news. I was negative for MARCONS. We added CSM as a binder, and it helped some of the values. The ones that are way off kilter MSH there is no help for except to try and rid the infection I guess.

I seem to be an odd duck to not make progress treating CIRS with Shoemaker protocol...

That being said, I went to a clinic in January to work on balancing my whole body and I am continuing to get better and better and better... back to working out 5x per week and have energy left at the end of the day. i hope the trend continues.

I can only guess they are accurate. As accurate as anything is with this stuff.

I'm being tested for iodine, parasites and adrenals. We will see where that goes and I may have to revisit the mold issue.

For now, concentrating on additional testing that I have coming up. I'll post when I know.

Let us know how you make out in the "mold journey.". 😚
