How fast do you relapse after stopping abx or herbs?

I seem to never get well for any decent amount of time no matter what treatment I've tried. I get about 20-30% better when I'm doing IV abx, but relapse quickly when I stop. ughhhhh........

Are you doing herbs and abx together? Also is your doctor testing your immune function? If the immune system isn't robust enough, then you are going to relapse at some point. Something has to keep these infections in check.

I don't know if this pertains to your situation or not but I did a few months of IV Rocephin on a very specific pulse schedule. This was based on a study that found when you treat you hit X amount of the bacteria (I don't remember the specific numbers and it's not really important) and the other's persist the treatment and go into hiding. The study showed that the bacteria came out of hiding after 4 days.

My IV schedule was Mon, Fri, Wed. Every IV hit more of the persistor bacteria until there was very very little. Now this was just for Lyme and I don't know if the same thing is true for the co's but it's likely that it is in some form or another. You are off your abx's for a certain period of time and the bacteria realize it's safe to come out a reak havoc again.

Hello all of you!!! It's so nice to be welcomed back so warmly

I have to start and stop a lot. For those of who know me- the MCAS really hinders my ability to stay on a treatment plan for very long. My Doctor is forced to switched things up too frequently for anything to reach a therapeutic level.

I relapse VERY quickly. Within less than a week. So far treatment has went like this: I start all my stuff (abx and herbs or seperate, been at this for years) and everything goes like you'd assume it would. I here a little, then start feeling better. Then out of nowhere I'm having too severe of allergic-like reactions and have to stop everything. It's hospitalized me, I lost 70% of my skin at one point. It's not the type of reaction that gives me the option of "toughing it out".

I've been mostly off of treatment except for some antivirals since around January. I just did a Bionic regimen since then. It's the one with frequency and photons that everyone was going to Germany for. My Doctor (I believe?) is the only one in the states that is offering it now. I didn't notice any difference whatsoever. Just my usual ups and downs.

I just finished on Friday. I did the highest intensity for 16 treatments. Still really sick.

It could be something else, I am collecting diseases. Right now my main hindrance is having growths all over my bones. The pain is beyond my threshold at this point. We are hoping it's just calcium deposits, but I have a sick feeling in my stomach over it for some reason. I'm prepared for the worst. I'm hoping it's just parathyroid tumors causing all of this, but my labs so far aren't pointing in that direction. I have more tests this week.
