cyst vs biofilm

Hi,
I have been on herbals for a month (Buhners) and have not had a single herx including when laying on the biomat and Epsom salt baths.
* Does that mean I have cyst or biofilm?
* How do you test for these?
I tested positive on Band 41 for IGm and IND for band 41 IGG and band 39 was IND.

You don't test for them...you just assume you have them.

I'm not sure that's the reason you aren't herxing.

Are you on low doses of Buhner's? It could be that you aren't on enough yet to cause an overload of toxins.

Not everyone herxes though. If your detoxing is effective and keeps up to the toxin load..then a herx may not happen...that isn't common though.

You could try raising the doses of the herbs - one at a time and see what happens.

I don't know of a test for biofilm or cysts.
Most Lyme protocols include something for attacking the bacteria that hidden in biofilms and cysts. The bacteria will inevitably morph into these forms to avoid detection and eradication from abx or herbs.

I would have the same questions about what size doses you are taking.

Some people just don't herx. Their bodies detox well enough on their own to not get an overload of toxins building up. This does not mean that you don't have the infections, only that you are lucky enough to not go through the 'typical' herxing that many do.

Not everyone experiences a herx if they are able to remove toxins from BB die-off. Or maybe your dosage is not high enough to cause die-off.

Whether or not you have cyst or biofilm is hard to tell. I do take GSE all the time which is a light cyst buster, but I've also hit them hard with Tindamax. Buhner also states in some of his books that he is not too concerned about biofilms. If you want to help break up biofilms most folk take enzymes like Serrapeptase or Lumbrokinase.

Cysts and biofilm may be able to be seen with a microscope, but that's like finding a needle in a hay stack. Fry Labs seems to be pretty good at this.
