Want to stock up on astragalus.

I use Wild Harvest tincture. Notice they have tablets.

Does it make a difference? Tablets will be easier.

Any brand HW prefers? Thanks.

Huddie I have used just about every kind there is and have not noticed any difference or change in one to the other.

The best part about tinctures is that you can gently move up in dose easier than a tablet.

But once you get to a certain point where the tablet dose is the same as the tincture, why not do the tablet?

I've been using the bulk powdered astragalus from Frontier Herbs astragalus:

Thank you guys,

I have tinctures now and will use them to get Will up to speed. I can do 3000 already but he can't do more than 1000.

I'll order tablets for summer, just easier to get in him.

Trav, you are a wonder. I definitely am not making my own capsules. I would probably poison all of us!

But when you open your shop and sell your capsules, tinctures, teas and sprays, I'll be your best customer yeah

LOL!! I have trouble keeping up with my and hubby's needs for capsule making!!! If I wasn't on here, I could do it, but I'm not ready to leave yet!!! smilewinkgrin

I agree that it's easiest to start with the tinctures - just use a reputable brand so that you know you are actually getting what's indicated on the label is all.

With a quick look online, here is the best price I can find for a really good brand of pre-made astragalus caps through StarWest Bontanicals. $58 for 500 filled caps (if I read it right!!!!):
