I just opened my Cordyceps tincture from sagewomanherbs.com. It doesn't look like my other tinctures. It looks like the water when I mix my Japanese Knotweed in, cloudy and grainy. Should it be clear like the other tinctures? The concentration also says 1:7. I thought I had found somewhere that Buhner said 1:5, but this is where he suggested buying it from.

Call them and ask to be sure, but it could easily have been from near the bottom of the 'batch' so more plant material is in it than usual.

A 1:7 ratio will be less potent than a 1:5, so bear that in mind when you are dosing.

Just got off the phone with them. She checked with the lab and said that it was normal for it to be cloudy, and the 1:7 concentration is what's on Buhner's protocol. Sorry Traveler, calling was such an obvious thing to do, my brain just doesn't work that way anymore. So frustration. I just know you guys here are my life line!

LOL! That's why we are here!!! We can help operate as your brain!!! LOL! And don't worry!! I have to do that sometimes too - the simplest things will just escape me!!

Glad to hear that it's all okay!! I figured it was, particularly since it's a mushroom - I would expect to see some cloudiness and particulates in the bottom of at least some of the bottles! But, it's always best to ask if you don't know!

I've called companies and asked some hard questions because the dry herb looks different!!
