Congratulations on doing what few want to do! I didnt want to, but gradually did. Yes, the right food is important, anyone still eating the American diabetic, inflammatory, GMO filled diet is cheating on their health if they are still ill. The cold hard truth, that non of us like to swallow LOL. Now that I dove in, I do see the light, not right away, it gradually took a while. Not only did this get my gut in order, but jumped my healing to a new level (my weight lifting post). I feel better and some lab tests prove it too.
I've been doing a similar diet since new years, but ate zero grains on an extended the whole30 version of Paleo. Very similar to Fodmaps, but a little more strict maybe. No mammal dairy products period. Found a chemical free "house brand" Almond milk, some are chemical loaded.
Seemed like SIBO reared its head after thanksgiving 2016. After one month of SIBO symptoms, My gut settled down 2 weeks after starting this.
Still doing it but introduced non-GMO corn chips after the 3rd month for a salty snack now and then. I have peanuts with mixed nuts too now. And just added sough dough bread, since the gluten is gone in it from fermentation. Rice bread sucks!
I eat lots of eggs, as its not dairy , they just didnt know where to put it in the old food pyramid.
I'm not on much supplements or anything anymore but magnessium, vitamins, ALA, I like your Modified Citrus Pectiin- great stuff, I used the similar D-limonene for 6 months.
