Relapse: Starting a new Protocol

I actually haven't used any of the abx or herbs you've listed, and only a couple of the support or de-tox items.

My primary herb treatment is Japanese Knotweed:
Japanese Knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum) has a wide range of actions. It is a long list, but worth citing here: antibacterial, antiviral, antischistosomal, antispirochetal, antifungal, immunostimulant, immunomodulant, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiatherosclerotic, antihyperlipidemic, antimutagenic, anticarcinogenic, antineoplastic, vasodilator, inhibits platelet aggregation, inhibits eicosanoid synthesis, antithrombotic, tyrosine kinase inhibitor, oncogene inhibitor, antipyretic, cardioprotective, analgesic, antiulcer (slightly reduces stomach acid and protects against stress ulcers), hemostatic, and astringent.

A broadly systemic plant, Japanese Knotweed Root modulates and enhances immune function, is anti-inflammatory for both arthritic and bacterial inflammations, protects the body against endotoxin damage, and is a potently strong angiogenesis modulator, highly protective of the endothelia of the body. Its constituents cross the blood-brain barrier where they exert actions on the central nervous system: antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, as protectants against oxidative and microbial damage. It is highly specific for bartonella infections and good, but of less importance, in mycoplasma infections.

Japanese Knotweed Root is a very strong inhibitor of cytokine cascades initiated by bacteria. During Lyme infection, for instance, there is a spirochete-stimulated release of a number of matrix metalloptroteinases (MMPs) which occurs through a particular grouping of pathways. While there are a number of herbs that can reduce autoinflammatory conditions stimulated by MMP-1 and MMP-3 (for example Curcumin), the only herb that specifically blocks MMP-1 and MMP-3 induction through three particular pathways is Japanese Knotweed Root.

Japanese Knotweed Root enhances blood flow, especially to the eyes, heart, skin, and joints. This makes it especially useful in Lyme and its coinfections as it facilitates blood flow to the areas that are difficult to reach to kill the organisms. The plant’s compounds easily move across the gastrointestinal mucosa and circulate in the bloodstream.

Japanese Knotweed Root is an angiogenesis modulator, stimulating the formation of new blood vessels and the healing of damaged ones in areas such as burned skin, but also stops the development of new vessels and blood flow in areas where it should not occur, such as in malignant and benign tumor formation. It maintains the blood vessels themselves and as part of this action, has specific modulating and protectant actions on the endothelial cells that line the blood vessels.

I take Milk Thistle for Liver support, Avena Sativa for calmness, Kudzu for my brain and central nervous system issues (tingling, numbness, full head feeling, headache). I added this based on Buhner’s book for nervous system symptoms. 1/4 tsp, three times a day.

De-toxing consists of ACV with the Mother, lemon water, activated charcoal caps., epsom salt foot soaks and dry skin brushing.

Every once in a while I make a batch of bone broth for the collagen. I have whole herb Hout, but have yet to start using it.

That's quite a lot you've got going there - especially since you're adding Samento, Banderol and Enula along with the cyst and biofilm busters.

P - Enula did that to you? I am taking 10 drops twice daily...do you remember your dose?

Herbs you didnt that I use: Japanese Knotweed, Cats Claw, Andrographis, Dandelion, Teasel, Tumeric, Ginger, Green Tea extract, Stephania (not impressed), Cryptolepis, Isatis, Milk thistle, Houttunyia, Baikal Skullcap, Licorice Root, Passion Flower

sometimes Red Root and Garlic and multiple essential oils.

My Borellia appear to be in check. My Bart lately is a pain in my knee, legs, feet, and balls literally. I rarely get the sweats so if I have Babs I think its in check. The Rifampin should be here soon and that should go after Bart and other confections if any. I fully expect to be well by the end of the year.

I use turmeric and curcumin as well as fish oil sporadically. knotweed I used for a few months, helpes with inflammation sort of but I didnt want it to supress my TH1 response too much. Cats claw is okay, I would look for something ToA free like Semento which is an extract from cats claw. Scute is also an extract of skullcap, much more potent. I also use to take skullcap but have realized I needed something stronger.

It is also might be an estrogenic herb, something as a man I wish not to take. It did cause some weird issues but nothing bad after some months use. I don't know if any of these chemicals are even absorbed though.

I also think there needs to be a balence; completely supressing NF-KB might be couterproductive if done in a constant manner. Will help symptoms a lot but promotes the dessemination and growtg of infection.

Really. There's going to be a whole lot of unhappy people on here and elsewhere if that happens.

What do you consider being balanced? I'm not a dr. or a biologist and haven't got the faintest notion what NF-KB is. Or TNF-a and IL-6, in practical, layman's terms.

Sorry, I couldn't tell by your username that you were a man. If I missed that info somewhere, I apologize. But then I wouldn't have realized men don't want to take any estrogenic herbs, either.
I wasn't advising you to take the Jk., just answering your question if any of us are using the protocol you are using, and since I'm not, explaining what and why.

Hey birthday good to see you!!! I've been improving on herbs I do buhner see a herbalist buhner a partner but I'm on like gosh almost twenty. about to start antibiotics.
