I see Dr J in DC. Although he doesn't take insurance, his staff will assist with insurance needs. They wrote me a letter of medical necessity for IV treatment within one day.
So for now, I pay the office visit and submit to my insurance company. My ins pays for my prescriptions too.
Hope that was helpful to you.
In other words, your insurance covers everything like a normal doctor, you just have to be the one to fill out the paperwork and submit it? His office cooperates with the insurance company, they just don't submit the work for you?
