All muscles feel like stuck in cement

Hi guys!

Okay so here is a new symptom that I used to get but only for a few hours or so and it would pass. I feel like a magnet is literally pushing my whole body down. My muscles feel like they are stuck in cement and my body is so exhausted. Every muscle including my head and face muscles and chest and abdomen...arms and legs...all feel like they weigh 100lbs each and I am stuck in cement. I try to force myself to get up and walk around but I feel like I could fall backwards or to the side because of the magnetic pulling down feeling. I feel like my speech is affected a little bit as well, but it could be in my head. It started last Saturday after I had an ovarian cyst burst...very painful for about two days and then this set in. I also got my period on the full moon. I'm hoping this will pass but it's been 6 days now with these symptoms and I am worried it might not go away...or could be MS or ALS. I know Lyme has such similar symptoms though too. Anyone else get this?

Thanks Trav! Yea my husband keeps saying you got hit with a triple whammy just rest. But of course I'm always thinking this is it...this is how it ends lol. I will call my doctor on Monday for sure. I talked to my other doctor and she just said to take more potassium and start on a small dose of hydrocortisone cream for my adrenals.

Do you get the stuck in cement feeling? It's so hard to describe but it's in my face and everything.

I know exactly what you describe. In my case though, it made me literally stuck, my whole body stopped moving for good, and at the same time, it felt like I couldn't breathe anymore.

I ended up totally paralyzed, in an ambulance, and of course, the ER didn't know what was wrong with me.

Eventually, my legs started moving slowly after a couple of hours, and I could move my arms too...

That was my first and last over-herx episode.

I had upped my dosage of andrographis and other killer herbs, and hadn't taken enough binders.

That problem never EVER happened again, because I got so scared to die from herxes since then.

I thought my lungs were going to stop moving too, as I could only move my facial muscles at a certain point! Nothing else moved!

That was my best lesson to learn what detox was about.

Since then, I made my detox protocols much more tuned and smarter, and concentrated more on detox than ever: from just 10% of detox, I upped to about 70% of detox. I lowered the amount of antimicrobials until they reached only 5-10%.

That was my ideal balance, that I developed during the years fighting lyme. so it's not only the feeling of magnetic pull, it is fact that legs get heavier, and then you simply cannot move them. Not only legs, but the whole body, as it was in my case.

Taking binders several times a day and lowering the amount of antimicrobials prevented me to have that episode again. That way, I could improve until I reached remission.

I get overall fatigue and feel like I cant' move when bacteria load goes up. Trav always reminds me it's from stress

Hi. I used to take activated charcoal. You need to take it two hours away from food. I would wake up in the night and take it with 8 oz. of water. If you are dehydrated it dries you out.

For sore muscles I spray magnesium oil on neck, arms, shoulders. I was recently told about calm-mag cream on this board and got some. Love it. I rub that on legs, ankles, feet. Magnesium works wonders on muscles.

Before the cream I do a hot epsom foot soak.

I have always drank a lot of water but in the beginning of Lyme I chugged it almost constantly. I was never without a water bottle. I think it is the bodies way of helping evacuate toxins by craving lots and lots of water.

So sorry you are going through all of this. It does get better.

I had/have very much your symptoms. For me I have found out it is my nervous system that has been hit the hardest. Lyme goes to our weakest points. I was told that while healing not to expend energy. No energy out. So no cardio, weights, just things that bring energy in.

What helps is lymph drainage exercises, the foot baths, gentle yoga, meditation tapes, and of course lots of sleep.
