Hopefully it works out ok and in the future you could do multiple antibiotics if you choose.

Azithromycin will not kill Lyme anywhere near as good as Doxy.
Even Doxy alone often just pushes the spirochetes in round body forms.

But it's good to start slow and you can always talk to your doctor about it later smile

I just began Zithro yesterday (250 mg/ day), and already can feel it affecting my body.

I have had a headache since taking it. It worsened t/o the day, but I woke up feeling a bit better. While trying to fall asleep last night, it felt as if I had a rush of hormones going to my head every minute or so. It was such a strange feeling, and made it really difficult to fall asleep.

I wonder if this is apart of the herxing? Or maybe my body just adjusting to the new abx?

There were times when I laid silent trying to "read" my body that I had to wonder what was real and what was in my imagination.

I had to breath and relax and quit trying so hard. I was stressing over every little thing.

Lyme loves stress. Stress is fuel for lyme because stress lowers our immune system.

And remember to detox.

PeteZa - Thanks, I've been detoxing like crazy. I will try the breathing techniques and see if I can get any relief as well
