Little red freckles spreading on body

I've noticed an increase in these tiny red blood colored dots on torso and now arms . Is it petula ( sp?) rash???

Yes - that sounds like petechiae. This is most often attributed to bartonella, although I think other TBDs can cause it too. I have it in certain areas - it showed up only after I started treatment, along with 3 other kinds of rashes and skin manifestations.

Those are associated with babesia in my experience. Started Mepron yesterday and a ton cropped up on my abdomen.

I thought they were Babesia...but maybe bart can also cause them.

Mine didn't come out until I did some babesia treatment...and they came out on the top of my right foot in the epsom salt bath....several times.

I've tried to read up as much on petechiae as I can since I have them somewhat spread out randomly, low density, and they seem to pop up more when I'm treating more heavily. I think in my case may be caused by bart, but I'm not definite on that like most things it is hard to figure out cause.

I have them also and an increase in them since focusing on treating Bart.

On arms, chest, torso.

They do look like tiny Cherry angiomas.

Yes, they are more of a reaction to treatment than infection for me too. I've read all sorts of theories for why they show up... All I'm sure of is that no one is sure of anything. I get them singularly and in groups - the grouped ones are teeeeeeny tiny and there are so many they almost look like one cohesive discoloration but the form a splotchy shape. Weird.

Yes, they do look like them but the difference I think is that the cherry angiomas are raised, very mole-like. But the petechaie are more sub-surface and maybe a bit smaller.

Mine are under the skin as well...not like cherry angiomas (I do have one of them).

P - don't you think a reaction to treatment means it is infection related?

For me...it started with Babesia treatment....and come out in an epsom salt bath...so I'm thinking it's both?
