Chicken - you taking epsom orally? How much mag in the 'pinch'? I was told that a little bit of mag with mino is okay...but I guess it's best not to chance lowering the mino concentration in your blood.
Yes I was. I had to tweak the dose lower several times but after a week I was experiencing the least amount of inflammation I have experienced in a long time.
By pinch I mean maybe 1/10 of a gram of a in a liter of water flavored with a splash of grape juice and sweetened with Xylitol. I consume about
4 liters in a day.
I know some doctors standpoint on this is transdermal is better than oral but I had little improvement from transdermal. It could be because it was my homemade concoction that I was spraying on myself, or I didn't give it enough time.
I look at it this way. If the buggers don't have their favorite minerals to eat, they are going to move on to their second favorite, and so on.
I am not worried about
feeding them, as that is what the abx and xylitol is for. I am worried about
not getting enough.
Mineral depletion is at the root of a host of chronic problems. Let them eat as long as I am getting some. Hopefully they are munching on some Xylitol also or preferring it.
I am going to be paying special attention to the inflammation this week since I will be removing the Epsom salts but I will still be taking a couple iron free mineral tablets (Country Life) which has about
300mg mixed Magnesium in it as well as 1mg of Manganese. Adding extra zinc along with the 6g of Flax seed oil.
We will see how it goes but I really think the Epsom Salts had the most impact on my inflammation and likely at a slightly higher dose than the current one.
Good to know if the side effect of Mino gets crazy that I can bind it with Magnesium.
