The most important treatment for brain fog is treating the infections, as it should subside once treated.

In the meantime, to help with symptoms you can try various herbals.

Brain fog can be from toxins causing inflammation - a couple ideas:

Nutramedix Pinella Nerve-Brain cleanse (goes well with Burbur) or

Jernigan's Neuro-Antitox II - CNS/PNS

I haven't used some of these but they are listed by Buhner:
Phosphatidyl-serine
Ginkgo biloba
Centella siatica(gotu kola)
Taurine
He also states that these may also be of use: cordyceps, kudzu root, Chinese senega root, lions mane, quercetin, vit D3, Bacopa monniera(for short term memory).

Thankyou both .

I tried to pin Ella today for first time. It did seem to help although I got a bit of a headache as well as clearing fog. What is the burbur for? I can't remember. I don't have that.

I have used elutheo in past but am out .

Goshawk - so far son is ok . On amox and herbs. Though the herb dose is low as he is not fond of taking them. I think I will amp up herbs for rest of our treatment. Thnx

Burbur is a detox by same company as Pinella (Nutramedix)



From the Nutramedix website:

is an extract produced from the leaves of Desmodium molliculum, a perennial plant from South America. The herb in Burbur has been traditionally used for its body cleansing properties. I did the urine test for HPU-kryptolauria which has been reported that 90% ofLyme patients have. It is a substance in the blood that becomes too high i lymies. Its result is brain fog, difficulty concentrating,mood issues, and others. It involves a severe defieviency, if not depletion of zinc and many other vital nutrients...

My doc put me on an adrenal support supplement called "adreset". It contains cordyceps, panax ginseng, and rhodiola. I've already taken the cordyceps and that didn't help with the fog so it must either the ginseng, rhodiola, or the combination of all 3.
I was put on this to help with fatigue but noticed right off that brain fog decreased by about 80%. Your mileage may vary of course and this stuff may be too stimulating for some people........like me.. I only take1/4 of a pill, otherwise it messes with my sleep.
