I just posted about
this on another thread
A lot of coffee has mold in it - mycotoxins - which cause that jittery, icky, sick feeling. I used to think it was caffeine too until I upgraded to a higher quality coffee. Some good alternatives with low or no mold are Bulletproof and Klatch. I've also had good experience with Groundworks and Stumptown. As for Dunkin Donuts, I would put good money on there being mold in their coffee. In fact, most commercial coffee has mold. Even Starbucks. Starbucks for me was the worst. I just felt sick after with stomach upset, diarrhea, hot flashes. My sister calls me "the canary in the coal mine" when it comes to coffee. I'm really sensitive to it.
Here's an article to explain better:
/blog.bulletproof.com/why-bad-coffee-makes-you-weak/I also like the idea of b12, ginseng, and bee pollen that BlueLyme suggested. I might try that as well, but I have a hard time giving up coffee. It makes me feel normal.
