My deepest apologies for going AWOL for a very long stretch. While there are lingering symptoms (headaches, pain flares, GERD) my health is largely BACK! This past weekend, the service organization asked for volunteers, and when no one responded to the third volunteer required (out of 100 people) I piped up and said, I'll do it. Me, slinging gear down to the tall other volunteer who slid it down the hatch. I thought, wow! I am recovered and this is as good as it gets. I don't have PROOF by way of blood work or tissue samples that says it was lyme, but by following a lyme protocol, my health returned. To think, I once thought I was dying and was down to walking ten yards! I am ashamed to say, I have had a long stretch (1 1/2 months) of totally letting go of all herbs, no supplements, and even eating sugar, gluten, and imbibing alcohol. My deepest self gently prompts, get back on track, and connect once again with this community that helped you in your deepest darkest hours.
Life stuff super stoked about, got my first kids book together which I am self-publishing, have a new website together for moving my visual art out into the world, our art community reprised an evening length work (I was dancing 4-6 hour a day) and I received a high profile award in our community in relation to this, and I am currently editing a book that passes on tips from the trade as a dance maker. and... the dragon sculpture I made that blew up while having a brain aneurysm repair (most likely lyme related) .. well, another even more magical sculpture came out. Life is good! Cat is purring in my lap and I feel my body asking to go back to the no sugar, no gluten, no alcohol protocol and to make good use of my supplements and herbs, I followed the lyme protocol, and my energy and strength and vitality has come back! Lesson learned? Trust your gut, be GRATEFUL of the healing resources you are drawn to, take a long time out when needed, but come back when prompted to be a resource. So happy!
