update on detox

Well I will be honest doc has never said a word about detoxing so I kind of overlooked it only time ive heard of it is here but then when I did herx it messed with me mentally and physicaly so I did 2 days of hard detox 2 Epsom salt baths a day,drank a massive amount of lemon water,burbur pinella,activated charcoal before bed and I don't no which one or all combined but I am now 80 percent better slight aches easly can handle and mentally clear as a bell last night slept like a baby way better then normal so there is something to detoxing.I really would like to thank you guys for the info you got me out of a bad place and I was kinda panicking a bit I will admit them herxes are no joke.Maybe now I will have a calm of symptoms for a bit fingers crossed

Congrats on feeling better.

I also have a doctor who doesn't stress detoxing. My first year of treatment was totally missing this valuable step to healing.

I have no one to blame but myself for missing this. We have to be our own advocates, and this a forum is the place to get information that will help fill in many of the blanks, that will allow us to heal.

I agree with Purrrsiankitty - YAY!!!

I'm so very happy that you found that much relief with the detoxing!! I too had a LLMD that said not one word about detoxing - but not many knew/understood how important it was back then. Imagine thinking you have no choice but to just 'get through' the herxing - and my herxing was pretty serious. I had seizures and more and lived with it for many months.

I'm so very glad that you found the help you needed with it, and that we were of help to you!
