I know there are a lot of sauna experts on this forum. I've been using a conventional sauna down at the gym, and it seems to be helping. However it's like 80 years old and the wood has never been changed so I can only imagine what weird bacterias are grown inside of that thing.
In any case, I think I may get a home sauna. Although, to be truthful, I'll miss going to this 80 year old sauna because I like meeting people in there and it's a good excuse to get out of the house.
Anyway, what's the best sauna for combating lyme? I have heard these near infrared saunas are supposed to be helpful because they heat your body from the inside somehow. I don't totally understand how that works, and I also don't understand how 4 light bulbs are enough to heat up the enclosure.
I'd prefer to make one myself and save big bucks if possible. But, I also like to do things right and end up with a quality sauna.
So, what's your opinion on the ultimate lyme sauna? A sauna that is good for detoxing and killing lyme?
Thanks!!
