Getting rid of brain ammonia

Does anyone know how to get rid of ammonia in the brain? Apart from abx, are there any other ways, such as herbs, that may be used to do so? Thanks!

L'ornithine works well for me, to reduce brain ammonia.

For me it was general detoxing and the use of binders that worked to lower my brain toxins, but I had so much ammonia that I could actually smell it myself. I had high levels of toxins throughout my body.

Did you have a test done to tell you that you have ammonia in your brain, or something else?

I have read that Jernigan's NeuroAntitox -CNS/PNS helps with removing ammonia in the brain.

dr Todd Watts recommends using glutamine, L-ornithine, theanine and butyric acid for detoxing ammonia. He said that in interview for Chronic Lyme Summit 2, I guess you can still listen it here www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=30&m=3864936

I tested a bit high on ammonia recently.

The LLMD recommended LOLA L-Ornithine and L-Aspartate.

I haven't looked to see if they come combined.
