From what I understand it is fine to mention the doctors who are high profile and publish alot of material. It does make me wonder about the 'gate keeping' and why it is fine for these doctors.
Well, personally, I'm not comfortable mentioning LLMD names at all in a public forum - but maybe that's because I have members emailing me nearly daily looking for one and I have to tell them that there isn't one very close all too often, as well as finding out that yet another LLMD is no longer practicing, which happens several times a year.
But, as the OP pointed out, when they put themselves and their names out there in the public eye, and do interviews and publish articles about
these infections under their real names, how can we say that those doctors can't be mentioned in public? It's really a quandry to be in, so we just do the best that we can to muddle through trying to protect these doctors without completely stopping the mention of all names.
I wish the situation was completely different and we didn't have to worry about
keeping these names protected! But, that's not where we are yet.
