low c3 c4 in lyme?

Hi,
This is my second post about lyme as I've only been diagnosed recently. I was wondering about some test results. Can anyone help?

Before I knew I had lyme, in late May a dr tested Complements C3 and C4.

I was a little low on C4, 14, standard range 16-47.

And lower on C3, 77, standard range 88-201.

I've read it's common for a low C3 in lyme. But I've also read that typically C4 is elevated, not low, as mine is.

What could cause c4 to be low?
The dr also tested for other autoimmune disorders and these two tests were the only ones flagged.

C4a is an imflamation marker. Strangely, it can be high or low to mean high imflamation in the body. When c4a is high, that is an indicator of biotoxin illness. So I guess I just told you nothing you didn't already know.

Curious as to what your doctor thinks?
