To start off, I would suggest tinctures and to start off on only one drop each day for the first few days to see how your body handles it. As you can tolerate it without herxing much, increase the dose. So after a few days, you would add in one drop in the evening. Then after a few days, add in a second drop to the am dose, wait a few days and add in a second drop in the evening. This will give you an idea of how you will respond to these herbs - some people (like me) herx horribly on some herbs and we must go slowly to avoid very serious herxing.
Most people start off with Japanese knotweed because it also has anti-inflammatory actions to it.
