Private testing for parasites (PCI?)

I see this is a year old, but thought I would reply in case anyone is interested.
I was misdiagnosed for over 20 years with lupus, only to find out I had Lyme with tons of coinfections. I worked in a lab and have had my stool tested for parasites probably 15+ times plus 10 times by drs which were all negative. Not to mention the millions of times I tested myself because I had suspected them, and the 20 tubes of blood I “donated” for my parasite antibody testing. Everyone I went to school and worked with just thought I was nuts.
So after the 7 years of treating chronic Lyme and being bedridden I accidentally found my own parasites. Ummm yeah, not just one type. A tapeworm being the largest thus far..... ya know, the parasites I didn’t have...
I have also been on around 7 different parasite medications for my Lyme/ coinfections and parasites already. And yes I still have hundreds of them pouring out.
Sort of difficult for me to believe after all the meds I’ve been on, not to mention all the schooling I went through teaching me everything I learned was basically FALSE.... and ummm how do I say...NOT RARE. I won’t even go into the Lyme issue. However, a while back I had a private test done by a dr and he’s the only one who actually found anything. Very impressed by his work. Here’s his link

Anyone that is sick with Lyme I suggest treating aggressively for parasites, even if you have already been on meds because more than likely it’s what is keeping you from healing. This is the only thing that has gotten me out of the bed in years.

Thank you! I’m always reading posts but have never actually posted anything until now. No, I’m currently treating parasites and this seems like it’s going to be a pretty long treatment. The drs make this seem like they’re an easy thing to treat and from what I’m experiencing they are NOT! The others members of my family also have Lyme, we have all been on parasite treatment previously, we ALL started parasite treatment again and WE all have them! This is a bigger issue and the LLMD’s need to put more emphasis into treating parasites then they do. The life suckers haven’t been surviving thousands of years because they die easily, let that sink in!
Which also brings me back to last year when I was in the hospital for the second time with “pneumonia” they never actually tested in the hospital. But my microbiology testing previous to being admitted came back as normal flora, and my chest X-ray was clear. My sputum was BROWN so I have no clue how it came back as normal flora?!?! My llmd thought it was from Babesia because I was having the same exact symptoms. Night sweats, body temp regulation issues, chest pain, air hunger, anxiety, POTS acting up, nerve pain in legs, anemia, terrible cough, and coughing up mucus, tremors, migraines, light sensitivity, and on. Thinking now it was a parasite infection in my lungs. I’ve just found some strange looking ova in my sputum this week and waiting on another freaking lab order to send this off again, this TIME for parasite testing. To me it looks like some type of fluke ova, but I can’t be sure without proper testing. So next time any of you get these symptoms do not just” think”ohhh Babesia again! I can NOT help but question the experience of this lab tech from quest who examined my slide, Houston, we have a problem! I would make sure your dr also gives you a lab order for O & P as well as regular respiratory if you are taking in a sputum sample. DO NOT ever swallow anything you cough up!!
I’ve seen a HUGE improvement already, but getting rid of all these disgusting bugs is for sure going to be a long term challenge. My llmd does treat for parasites, however not to the extent I believe all of us need.
Really hope this post helps because the battle with Lyme is almost unbearable as it is, now adding to it this awful parasite treatment. The herring is horrific. Right now I have sores all over my scalp, terrible insomnia, anxiety, rashes galore, skin peeling off the bottoms of my feet, joint pain, irritability, itching, gas, vomiting, stomach pain, and the list goes on. I am so sorry for all of us who are going through this hell. Hang in there, there IS a light at the end of the tunnel!
We have been experimenting with herbals as well as prescription meds and have found many things that work. I’ve been adding them along side my RX’s as well. So if anyone would like info I would be more than happy to share what’s been working for us. Especially helpful if you can’t find a dr to treat you. Actually my husband is only doing herbals and having success with them. There’s lots of good info on the web and YouTube has some helpful videos as well.
