Two weeks is not much time at all. Some LLMDs don't treat lyme aggressively until co's are treated first.
getting a positive Babs test from Labcorp is incredible. Omni pairs well with other Lyme, Babs and Bart protocols and is a good start. Maybe your LLMD will add Mepron and Zith at your next appointment.

Babs treatment is for a minimum four months, which is the life cycle of red blood cells where Babs hangs out. Many of us here have treated Babs for much longer periods and have also had relapses, since it can never be totally eradicated.

Be patient... treatment is a marathon. Slow and steady is best.

Not everyone has a herx when starting a new ABX. It doesn't mean it's not helping. This might change when you hit 4 weeks or when Bb is in replication. Also maybe most of your Bb may be in cyst form or partying in biofilm where Omni is less effective. Who really knows when you are just getting started.

Once you start to treat Babs, I'm sure that will change. Its sort of like waking the beast.

As tickbite said - not everyone has a herx on every med. And, it can also take longer - a herx could still happen.

Omnicef - while a good antibiotic for lyme...isn't going to do much for Babesia - it needs to be paired with an anti-malarial - Malarone...or Mepron are the usual choices.

You are lucky to have tested positive for babesia - that gives you direction ...and that is an infection that THE Dr. J. says gets in the way of healing the other infections (lyme, bart...etc)
