Need Advice on Starting Doxycycline

My doctor just switched my babesia protocol from azithromycin to doxycycline with malerone. I am supposed to take 400mg a day but I've taken 200mg for the last three days to work up slowly.

I am having horrific anxiety since starting. It is over-the-top and causing panic attacks. Would doxycycline work this fast to cause this problem? I also have lyme and am taking cat's claw and artemisia.

Should I stay low and slow and detox or am I just making the lyme angry and need to increase my doxy dose?

work up to prescribed dose as best you can. Too low a dose will just make lyme dormant in cyst form. I always took the slam 'em hard route and had a pretty good stomach most of the time.

Have you tried taking Alka-Seltza Gold to help with the herx? I doubted it at first when I read about it, but it does help and it is relatively cheap compared to the rest of the stuff we take.
