I believe it's a Babesia symptom.
Hoping someone else will post confirming that.

I suspect Occular Bartonellosis as I have found that it responded to Doxycycline but could not be permanently resolved by Doxycycline alone.
Although it could very well be Babesia as I know someone with eye problems who tested positive for Babesia and negative for Bartonella.
It is interesting how these two bacteria seem to relate to each other. I suspect a relative pleomophic heirarchy between the two.

Mexlyme, I have had issues with dry, burning, red eyes being a problem. My LLMD believes it is due to my Bartonella.
I have Lyme and Babesia, too. But, I notice the eye symptoms are at their worse I'm herxing or flaring due to the Bartonella. The progress I have made with Babesia has not impacted my eyes.
We're all different, of course. But, that has been my experience. Take care.

I looked stoned the entire time I was treating lyme. I have no idea if I had bart or babs or whatever. I did not test for any of them.
I sure had red, itchy eyes. I had floaters too. I also would see bugs out of the side of my eyes on my walls. When I turned to look, nothing was there. Lyme is such a freaky disease.

lyme and/or bartonella can do that. stephania root helps with eye issues

i used chamomile tea, cold, always worked. some LLMDs will prescribe ocular doxy drops...
