Gosh how scary.
Here is some information on herxing --
www.tiredoflyme.com/the-herxheimer-reaction.htmlWhat dose are you on the CSA? Did you just go to the maximum dose or slowly move up to it. That makes a huge difference. Also, that tincture (CSA) is 3 herbs together and if one of those herbs is irritating to you, how will you know.
The S in CSA is sida acuta and it gave me rapid heartbeats.
Buhner says this: Stephen’s response:
I have not heard of that side effect for sida, the main thing we have seen is that sometimes the herb can make symptoms worse. Usually we suggest reducing the dose which generally takes care of it.
Stephen
So you might reduce the dose as Buhner says. But, when taking a 3 in 1, you will be reducing the others also. Maybe get the 3 tinctures individually and move up slowly with those before you advance to the combo?
Treating lyme is a trial and error type of treatment. There is no silver bullet to treat it. We all have treated differently. We had to, because we all have different symptoms.
Good luck and I hope someone else has more information for you.
