Options.... Help!

My advice to everyone is "go with your gut instincts." And, if it doesn't work out, you just go with the next plan.

One thing about being a lyme patient is we are always trying something. We have to. There is not one thing that works for all of us.

We are all so different and each one of us has to find our own way with dealing with this disease. No one has a sure fire plan.

So pick what you feel is the best for you and go with it. We will cheer you on and be there all through it, no matter what you choose.

I am hesitating between a few options ... should I go see a naturopath that is used to lyme disease, or Dr. C in British Columbia, or a functional physician or should I simply buy natural products by myself according to treatments like the Cowden protocol ...

Are you in the East? If so, the LLND's can only treat herbally.

Dr. C can prescribe abx and is quite knowledgeable. If you see him for a consult...you can do follow-ups via phone call.

Do you know a functional Dr. who is Lyme Literate to treat you?

I think you need to decide if you want to treat with abx...or not. If you do..then your options are travel to B.C. or cross the border. If you're out West - that means Dr. MR in Seattle or Dr. K.
If you're in the East - then maybe a LLMD in northern NY State - like Plattsburgh.
