Hi,

I am new here and was wondering what others have experienced using EMDR therapy? I had it years ago for panic attacks and phobias and it worked very well. This time however I am not feeling very good. It's rapid eye movement by means of following a finger or using a clicking machine and thinking about an issue that is stressing you and gaging how you are feeling as time goes on.

Do you have or think you have Lyme Disease?

As I said, I'm not familiar or recall recent conversations here about it, but I'm sure someone has.

If you have Lyme D., we encourage all new members to read our intro "New to Lyme?....start here".

I don't know if you're using any other treatment for Lyme or just interested in the PTSD element here, but our intro covers a wide range of helpful subjects to make healing easier to understand and progress through.

I used EMDR for ptsd. I have found EFT (tapping) to be more effective for lyme symptoms.

Yes I do have Lyme, Bartonella and Babesia. I have been in treatment a long time as I was misdiagnosed with MS in 1995. Thanks for replying.

Thanks for replying. I have done tapping and did find it quite helpful. Did you not have success with the EMDR?
