jdf...Magnesium, I have three forms. 1)Epsom Salt, use in bath, or a tsp dissolved in a glass of water for laxative 2) magnesium citrate I've bought in bulk, I just eyeball about 300-500mg on plastic knife 3) magnesium oxide i think it's 250mg tablet.
I usually rotate, usually one out of 3 at a time. I had to be super frugal so i just use a plastic knife and get the citrate supplement that way, (bulk supplement powders online amazon or ebay) not exact. As long as you are getting trace amounts of it thru your skin (via epsom on a washcloth for instance how I do it to save money) it has a same effect you should be fine. The most noticeable is trickling epsom salt water from squeezing a washcloth over my head (this is just my strange method) or mixing it in with body wash on a warm washcloth while exfoliating skin in the shower.

Any one of these can help you chill and calm.
