Hi,
3 years ago I had classic symptoms of lyme.
I went to the doctor, they ignored me and did not test.
Symptoms continued.
Last year I demanded a igenex test.
I was told that it was negative
Later this year, I went back, and my doctor said No, it tested POSITIVE not NEGATIVE. However, it tested positive for the anti-gen so "I did have it but I no longer have it"
At the time I believed him and continued on.
Symptoms continued
A skin rash that I continued to have for years (!) developed worse.
After a few visits, I was given anti-biotics for the skin rash -- not related to any conversation of lyme diease -- and took them for 10 days. The anti-biotics immediately started working on the skin rash.
For 10 days and about
two weeks after that, the skin rash went away AND also other symptoms that I associated with lyme, also started to go away (fatigue being the major one).
I have been off the anti-biotics for the skin rash for about
a few weeks. Since then, my symptoms have got worse. I had the thinking that maybe my skin rash might be because of lyme diease.
Then I find out -- that the igenex test is positive if I have the anti-gen? And that I may have had lyme the entire time? And my doctor is incorrect and I still have it?
He will give me the results of the test, but obviously he can't read it right. Where can I send this to have somebody look at this? The anti-biotics worked, what is the protocol for disinfection for 3 year infection? It looks like I am unable to find a doctor, I would like to buy the anti-biotics and do it myself -- against the wishes of my doctor but I will force the conversation with him and tell him I will be doing the protocol and sourcing the medicine myself but would like his supervision (should I do a blood test before and after of my liver and kidney of the antibiotics as a precaution?)
please help
p.s. I did NOT have a ring rash and yes I did read the New page thanks
