I came across this several years ago...and forgot about it...until I recently stumbled upon it again.

Treating RA, Scleroderma, Psoriatic Arthritis,Lupus with long-term antibiotics.

...and it's not 'new' - dates of the stories go back to 2000.

I think it's mostly minocycline used...

I read the second story on page 1 - and the writer also ended up with lyme ...and was treated for 8 years. He said : "There is no doubt that I have some sort of immune problem."

Yes, those conditions are pathogen related. Alzhiemers will make that list soon as well. Already proof there's some type of connection and abx has helped many with this condition.

What about malaria, not sure but I believe people have relapses that comes back and I believe abx is used to retreat and control relapse?

Tuberculosis is many months of treatment.

My GP said often over a year of treatment is necessary.

Yes Malaria is similar in that way. Relapses occur whenever the load gets high enough.

I know of someone that has gotten malaria multiple times (he works in the jungles of Africa throughout parts of the year). And because he's gotten it so many times he will have a relapse now every time he catches a bad cold or flu. His immune gets down fighting that and opportunistic Malaria pops back up. Similar to Borrelia and co.

I've heard of people who are on Doxy for acme longer than 30 days.

Does the CDC admit this relapse condition occurs for malaria?
