I've taken them, as well as had a few telephone/Skype consults with Dr. Rawls.
Basically, there are four products (see below) - a multi-vitamin/-mineral and three herbal formulas.
As far as I'm aware, I
think they can be taken with antibiotics, but I would suggest e-mailing VitalPlan.com to be sure. Also, in
this post, there's discussion about
using herbs with antibiotics.
Here are the four 'Restore Program' components. At the bottom, I've included my personal anecdotes. Although not scientific, perhaps it will be helpful to someone.

Although I've been having health issues as far back as 1986, things were mostly manageable with dietary and lifestyle interventions, until around 2002. In 2003, several new things arose and plagued me, on-and-off, until 2013. That's when things got (and stayed) worse.
In 2014, I found a tick embedded in my leg. I sent it to LabCorp and it was positive for B. Burgdorferi. I had two rounds of Doxycycline: two weeks on, two weeks off, and another two weeks on. I was bumping my way through it, using three different doctors, because I was clueless.
Four months after the antibiotics, things started to get worse and even new issues arose. By that time, I was somewhat hesitant about
antibiotics, so I kept searching online and found VitalPlan.com and their 'Restore Program.' After some consideration, I started the program.
In the fourth month of taking the supplements twice daily, I had been able to return to walking a trail (a somewhat aggressive one) at the local arboretum. Before that, I was too tired and my muscles/joints hurt too much to even walk to the mailbox at the of my driveway. So, that was a huge accomplishment.
Unfortunately, there's no fairy tale ending to the story.
At the time, I was lamenting the monthly cost of the Restore Program supplements. I thought, rather foolishly, that perhaps I should just go on antibiotics and resolve my issues. (ha!) I figured it would be cheaper than the supplements.
Penny wise, pound foolish.
So, I quit the Restore Program supplements. Within a few weeks, my health regressed and I started feeling worse again. Did I take antibiotics? Nope. Did I go back on the Restore Program? Nope. I ended-up working with a few out-of-state practitioners, at different times, and bought more and varied supplements that were even MORE expensive than the Restore Program. And, in the end, did nothing for me.
To quote Bugs Bunny: "What a maroon."
Around a year after quitting the Restore Program, I went back on them for a few (can't recall exactly how many) months. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same success I originally experienced. My guess is that I didn't give it long enough - either time.
If I could do it all over again, I would:
- Take 200mg of Doxycycline, twice daily, following the tick bite
- Follow the Restore Program for at least six months - and, probably a year or more
So, that's part of my story, for what it's worth.
After reading most of what has been written on VitalPlan.com and RawlsMD.com, speaking/e-mailing with Dr. Rawls, attending Vital Plan webinars, and working with some of the Vital Plan team (including being a participant of their Customer Advisory Board) to provide feedback and help them improve their products and services, I firmly believe they're sincere in their mission to help people.
In the few paid consultations I've had with Dr. Rawls, he always exceeded the amount of time - quite a lot - for which I paid. If I wrote with a question, he would always provide a detailed answer and ensure I understood and felt comfortable. They continue to offer free webinars, and, on a few occasions, have given away free copies of Dr. Rawls' books for just the cost of shipping. Like the rest of us, Dr. Rawls was personally affected by illness and he has his own story. If interested, you can read some of it
here.
