Hi all

I am on my second week of antibiotic to treat early Lyme with multiple ems but no other symptoms.
The rashes cleared at end of week one but I will continue the antibiotics for another 5 weeks so 6 weeks in total.

My question is, I have head Lyme hides from antibiotics by turning into cyst form? If so how can I stop this from happening and have my antibiotics treat it fully?

You need to use what LLMD's call a cyst buster. GSE Extract is a mild cyst buster. Flagyl or TindaMax are commonly used and usually pulsed later on in treatment. Some LLMDs say that Plaquenil and Diflucan are also mild cyst busters.

Thanks so much! I don't have a Lyme doctor anywhere near me could I ask what the protocol would be for this and when to start it?

That advice is a bit out of my pay grade. GSE is easy to get and start with a drop or so a day and work up to 15 - 20 drops twice a day.

If you can get Tinidazole (Tindamax) – I would start with (1) 500mg tablet and see how you react. Then try (1) tablet on two days in a row. I took (2)500mg tabs 2 consecutive days/wk. Avoid alcohol completely since Tindamax can produce an antibuse type reaction in some people and you may get violently ill.
