Liver inflammation from Resveratrol?

Hay anyone else had a weird reaction to Resveratrol/Japanese Knotweed, specifically liver inflammation/mild pain in that upper ribcage area?

I have tried to take it on more than one occasion, starting with a low dose, and after a few days I've had to stop because I get this mild discomfort in my liver area...

I can't tell if it's because I'm having a specific allergic reaction to the Resveratrol itself or if it's part of a general Lyme herx reaction. It stops/normalizes after I stop the herb, so I haven't been able to take it long enough to find out if it's all part of a temporary herx.

I never had that type of reaction. It might be a herx, and if you are on other meds, would be helpful to look and see if there is any cross reactivity. I'll see if I can surface some more info for you.

My thoughts are that it is an allergic reaction.
I get it when I take some herbs - cats claw and andrographis will make my liver feel full and sore. Everytime even the smallest amount. I dont take it to be a herx when I herx the symptoms are always the same with no upset liver.
