Hello lovelies!
UPDATE ON LLMD VISiT:
I was diagnosed with late-stage Lyme last week by a LLMD (first visit) in light of my history of positive Lyme Western Blots and ongoing clinical symptoms.
I had 12 vials of blood drawn total, and the LLMD wants me to do a cortisol saliva test by Genova to evaluate insomnia.
My ammonia level came back today and it is normal. I'm wondering: how could my ammonia level be normal if I have neuro-Lyme? Does anyone have neuro-Lyme with normal ammonia level?

Anyways, at this visit, the doc prescribed:
-Neurontin
-supplements (Magnesium citrate, NAC, ALA, Melatonin)
-burbur & pinella herbal extract
-avoid blue light at night
-lithium orotate
-take levothyroxine in a.m. instead of p.m.
-temporarily stop taking B and D vitamins in case they're interfering with sleep
-Epsom salt baths & magnesium oil spray
She plans to start "Phase A antibiotics" at my next visit, once my sleep has improved and I've "de-toxed".

A lot of people have been asking me *skeptically* why my doctor didn't start antibiotics right away if I have Lyme disease.
How common is it for a doctor to wait before prescribing antibiotics? If they do wait, how long is typical...how long is ideal?

UPDATE ON DENTIST VISIT:
My LLMD recommended that I see my dentist for evaluation of TMJ and getting a night guard.
I saw a dentist yesterday for cleaning and evaluation, but she would charge $1000 for a night guard. I am seeing a doctor who charges $600 tomorrow, instead...

It has been a long journey to finally seeing a LLMD and getting a diagnosis that really explains all my multi-systemic symptoms.
Thank you so much for taking the time to respond and for the support.
